About the event

Winter Walk and Observe

Tuesday, March 3, 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM

$5 per person

What You'll Experience

Walk the creek path along the Saline Branch and observe the natural landscape as winter transitions to spring. Leslie highlights seasonal changes, native plants, wildlife, and the ecosystem that surrounds the farm.

While not specifically focused on bird watching, participants are encouraged to bring binoculars to observe whatever catches your eye—birds, emerging plants, animal tracks, or the play of light on water.

After the 35-40 minute walk, the group gathers in the farm store to discuss observations and share what you noticed.

This walk covers approximately 1.5 miles on easy but uneven terrain along natural paths.

What's Included

  • Guided walk with farm founder Leslie Cooperband

  • Insight into seasonal changes and local ecology

  • Group discussion after the walk

  • Access to the farm store
