Prairie Explorers Jr. is our Wednesday morning program for Pre-K kids, built around a new hands-on theme every week. A parent or guardian must remain on-site for the duration of the program.

Aug 12 - Wiggle and Groove Wednesday

Music and movement, gross motor play, and a craft station, built for kids who need to move.

Aug 19 - Book, Beats and Bubbles

A read-aloud followed by craft, sensory, and discovery stations.

Aug 26 - Windup Wednesday

Three gross motor stations, each built around a different physical challenge.

Sept 2 - Sensory Wednesday

Four sensory stations invite little hands to explore textures, materials, and discovery, all farm-inspired.

What to bring: A reusable water bottle, closed-toe shoes, and weather-appropriate clothing. We are a working farm — expect dirt, sun, animals, and fresh air.

Location: Prairie Fruits Farm & Creamery, 4410 N Lincoln Ave, Champaign, IL 61822. Parking is available on site. Look for red flags at the entrance to the gravel lot. We will meet under the pavilion.
