Stephanie Block of Sundrop Alpacas will guide you through the needlefelting process to make an adorable bumblebee. Customize yours to look authentic, whimsical, or anything in between. This hands-on workshop is perfect for those wanting to learn a new art form using natural, local materials.
$85 per person.
What You'll Create
Using alpaca fiber from Sundrop Alpacas, you'll needlefelt a small bumblebee figurine that fits in the palm of your hand—perfect for enhancing any location in your home. Your creation is fully customizable, allowing your personal style to shine through.

About Your Instructor
Stephanie Block is the owner of Sundrop Alpacas and has been creating small needlefelted figurines for over ten years. She teaches needlefelting courses at several local venues and has exhibited her work in the Champaign Urbana Spinner and Weavers Guild annual show and sale.
Stephanie's projects focus on small items that fit in the palm of your hand, combining technical skill with whimsical charm. Her expertise with locally sourced alpaca fiber brings an authentic farm-to-art connection to every piece.

Parking & Location
You can find general parking in the gravel lot. An ADA parking pad is available south of the Farm house. The classroom is located in the white building with the black trim west of the gardens. Check in at the Farm store in the front of the building.
