Join Kristyn, owner of Planted, to learn strategies for refreshing your houseplants as they wake up for the growing season. From repotting to pest checks, pruning to watering adjustments, you'll learn how to help your plants thrive through spring and summer.

About Your Presenter

Kristyn is the owner of Planted, a downtown Champaign plant shop serving the community since August 2022. A Champaign-Urbana native who returned to raise her own family here, Kristyn is a CPA who left public accounting to pursue her passion for plants and customer service. She is also co-owner of Fern & Flora, a flower shop on UIUC's campus.

Kristyn's expertise and approachable teaching style make plant care accessible for everyone, from beginners to experienced plant lovers.

Parking & Location

You can find general parking in the gravel lot. An ADA parking pad is available south of the Farm house. The classroom is located in the white building with the black trim west of the gardens. Check in at the Farm store in the front of the building.
