In the Stained Glass Witch Hat Suncatcher Workshop, you'll create a whimsical witch hat design while learning the foundational techniques of stained glass art from start to finish.

Whether you're completely new to stained glass or looking to build on your skills, this hands-on class offers a welcoming environment to explore color, craftsmanship, and creativity while making a one-of-a-kind piece perfect for the Halloween season.

What You'll Do

With guided instruction, you'll create your own stained glass witch hat suncatcher from start to finish. You'll begin by learning about glass selection before cutting and shaping your pieces, smoothing the edges with a grinder, applying copper foil, and soldering your design together.

You'll also learn how to attach the hanging hardware needed to turn your finished piece into a suncatcher that's ready to display.

Throughout the workshop, you'll receive step-by-step guidance and plenty of hands-on support while building confidence with essential stained glass techniques.

By the end of the evening, you'll leave with a completed stained glass witch hat suncatcher ready to bring a little whimsical Halloween charm to your favorite window.

This workshop is open to adults ages 18 and up and is suitable for beginners as well as those with some stained glass experience. No previous experience is necessary.

Please wear closed-toe shoes for safety while working with glass and workshop tools.

You can find general parking in the gravel lot. An ADA parking pad is available south of the Farm house. The classroom is located in the white building with the black trim west of the gardens. Check in at the Farm store in the front of the building.
