Explore the expressive possibilities of pen and indigo ink in this hands-on drawing workshop led by artist Vivian. Through a series of still-life studies and guided exercises, participants will discover the unique qualities of ink while building foundational drawing skills.

Designed for artists of all experience levels, this workshop focuses on observing and translating the world around you through line, value, and composition. You'll learn how to capture light and shadow with confidence while experimenting with the rich, fluid nature of indigo ink.

Whether you're new to drawing or looking to expand your artistic practice, this creative experience offers an opportunity to slow down, observe closely, and develop a deeper understanding of ink as a versatile medium.


What You'll Do

During this immersive workshop, you'll participate in a variety of drawing exercises and still-life studies designed to strengthen observational skills and artistic confidence. Working with pen and indigo ink, you'll explore techniques for creating depth, contrast, and texture while learning to capture the subtle relationships between light and shadow.

Parking: General parking is available in the gravel lot. ADA parking is located south of the farmhouse. The classroom is in the white building with black trim west of the gardens. Check in at the farm store at the front of the building.
