Create a beautiful beaded tulip in this hands-on French Beading workshop led by artist Sara Jones. Using delicate glass beads and wire techniques, you’ll design a tulip that can be displayed in a vase, worn in your hair, or used as a decorative pin.
French beading is a classic technique that transforms simple materials into intricate floral art. This beginner-friendly class will guide you step-by-step through creating your own tulip, resulting in a unique piece you can proudly display or wear.
What You'll Do
During this creative workshop, you’ll learn how to shape wire and beads to form the petals and structure of a tulip. Sara will guide you through the process from design to finishing, helping you create a piece that reflects your own artistic style.
By the end of the class, you’ll leave with a completed French beaded tulip that can be worn, displayed, or gifted.

About Your Instructor
Sara Jones is a multi-craft cosplay competitor living in Champaign-Urbana. She works in both 2D and 3D media including fabric, EVA foam, paint, LEDs, motor-driven electronics, and leather.
Sara believes everyone deserves to experience the joy of making art without focusing solely on perfection. Her teaching emphasizes hands-on support, building confidence, and trusting your own instincts toward beauty.

Parking: General parking is available in the gravel lot. ADA parking is located south of the farmhouse. The classroom is in the white building with black trim west of the gardens. Check in at the farm store at the front of the building.
