Join us for a playful and creative hands-on workshop where you’ll design and embellish your own embroidered insect. Choose from a moth, butterfly, or dragonfly, to wear in your hair or on your clothing. This beginner-friendly class blends textile art with a touch of whimsy, resulting in a one-of-a-kind accessory you’ll be proud to show off.
Whether you love bold colors, delicate details, or imaginative design, this workshop offers a fun and approachable way to explore embroidery.
What You'll Do
Using paper patterns, fabric, needle, thread, and a variety of embellishments, you’ll create a decorative barrette or pin from start to finish. You’ll begin by designing your insect, then move into cutting, stitching, and assembling your piece into a wearable accessory.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with a finished creation and the skills to continue embellishing your own designs.

Parking: General parking is available in the gravel lot. ADA parking is located south of the farmhouse. The classroom is in the white building with black trim west of the gardens. Check in at the farm store at the front of the building.
