June 27, 2026, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

$30 per person

Celebrate the tiny wonders of the natural world in this relaxing, beginner-friendly embroidery workshop inspired by snails and dimensional textile art. In Embroidered by Nature: Snails Gone Wild, you’ll learn simple hand embroidery and beginner wire-working techniques while creating your own 3D stumpwork snail.

What You'll Do

Using your choice of colors and decorative details, you’ll construct and embroider a dimensional stumpwork snail from start to finish. You’ll learn how to shape and structure your embroidery using beginner-friendly wire work, create smooth satin-stitched surfaces, and add beaded details for texture and character.

With hands-on instruction throughout the workshop, you’ll build confidence in foundational embroidery techniques while creating a finished decorative artwork mounted in an embroidery hoop and ready to display at home.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with at least one completed embroidered snail and the skills to continue exploring dimensional embroidery on your own.

You'll Learn:

  • Basic satin stitch techniques

  • Beginner wire-working methods for stumpwork embroidery

  • Basic beading techniques for dimensional details

  • Basics of embroidery design and composition
