Celebrate color, texture, and creativity through hand embroidery in this relaxing, beginner-friendly workshop inspired by birds and nature. In Embroidered by Nature: Feeling Fly, you’ll learn simple stitching and embellishment techniques while creating your own decorative embroidered bird.

What You'll Do

Using your choice of bird template and decorative techniques, you’ll design and embellish a colorful embroidered bird from start to finish. You’ll explore layering fabric, adding texture through seed stitching, and incorporating beads and sequins to bring personality and sparkle to your piece.

With hands-on instruction throughout the workshop, you’ll learn beginner-friendly embroidery techniques while creating a finished decorative artwork mounted in an embroidery hoop and ready to display at home.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with at least one completed embroidered bird and the confidence to continue stitching on your own.

You'll Learn:

  • Basic applique techniques
