Bring the textures and beauty of the changing season indoors with a botanical sculpture inspired by the natural landscape. In this hands-on Autumn Air Plant Sculpture Workshop, you'll create a one-of-a-kind tabletop arrangement using live air plants, preserved botanicals, natural materials, and hand-shaped decorative wire.

Rather than traditional fall décor, this workshop takes inspiration from the colors, textures, and organic forms of the woodland in autumn. The result is a whimsical botanical piece that feels seasonal without being tied to a holiday—perfect for displaying well beyond September.

What You'll Do

You'll begin with a natural 8–9 inch wood slice that will serve as the base for your tabletop sculpture. Using three live air plants, you'll build your arrangement with preserved moss, seed pods, dried botanicals, bark, and an assortment of other natural, fall-inspired materials.

You'll also learn how to shape decorative wire to add height, movement, and a sculptural element to your design. With plenty of room for creativity, each participant can choose how to layer and arrange their materials, making every finished piece completely unique.

By the end of the evening, you'll leave with a finished botanical sculpture that brings a touch of the natural world into your home.

You can find general parking in the gravel lot. An ADA parking pad is available south of the Farm house. The classroom is located in the white building with the black trim west of the gardens. Check in at the Farm store in the front of the building.
